Restoring the Church Tower Clock

Caring for an ancient building is an ongoing responsibility.  While regular maintenance is always needed, from time to time major repair projects arise that need additional support.  Our first project under the relaunched Friends scheme focuses on something many people in Market Deeping have already noticed: the tower clock has stopped.  We now have the opportunity to restore this historic timepiece, repair worn components and install a modern automatic regulator so that it keeps accurate time.

Project cost: £11,438.40.
