As part of the 2019 organ refurbishment here at St. Guthlac’s Church, National Lottery funding was secured to restore the instrument and to support the next generation of organists.  From this, the Organ Bursary was created, offering a year of free lessons, practice opportunities on the church organ, and experience playing for services.

Although the pandemic delayed its launch, we are delighted to announce that the organ bursary has been awarded to Daniel Fowler.  We look forward to supporting him as he develops his skills and contributes to the musical life of St. Guthlac’s.
