St. Guthlac’s Memorial Book is a special way to remember & honour those who have passed away. The book is kept in church as a visible sign of our ongoing remembrance. Each name is recorded beneath the date on which they passed away, so that on the anniversary of their passing their name is lovingly displayed in the Memorial Book. Visitors are always welcome to spend time in the Church, & many find the Memorial Book offers a quiet space for reflection & prayer.

We invite families to consider whether they would like their loved one to be included in the Memorial Book. If you wish to do so, please complete a form, which can be found in the back of church, by 26th February. There is a small fee of £40, which covers the cost of the book being sent to a professional calligrapher, who carefully inscribes each name before the book is returned to the Church.
