Sylvia is also a trained Spiritual Director / Accompanist. She has ministered all over England, from Merseyside to Devon, and is married to Nigel, our administrator.

At the end of June, we say farewell to Andrew Mitchell as he finishes his time as our Children's and Youth Worker here at St. Guthlac's Church.
 
We are thankful to Andrew for all he has given to the life of our church and community over the last few years. His care, enthusiasm, faith and commitment have been greatly appreciated by so many.  We wish you every success in his new role as Children's and Families Minister at Whitton Parish, Ipswich.

If you’ve experienced loss and would value a warm, supportive, understanding space, you're welcome to join us. There’s no pressure to talk — just come along to share, listen, or simply sit with others who understand.

Each month we meet to offer time for conversation and company, as well as a themed talk or guest speaker. We are always joined by legal professionals who can share informal advice. Topics include practical matters such as wills, probate, and estate administration, and visiting speakers will include hospice nurses, funeral directors and grief counsellor. The café is open to anyone, regardless of how recent or long ago your bereavement occurred.

The next meeting will take place on Thursday 2nd July.  You are welcome to join us.
