On Sunday 6 September at 10am, we're gathering for an all-age service as start a month of celebrating God’s amazing creation! We'll be thinking about the difference even the smallest things can make, how interconnected our wonderful world is, & what small things we can do to care for it. 🌍💚
 
There'll be plenty for children and adults to join in with, so why not come along and start Creationtide with us? 🌱

We're looking for a new helper for Shining Lights, our after-school club at William Hildyard Primary School. We’re looking for a friendly, reliable person to join our team, which helps children have fun and explore faith through Bible stories and crafts. You will be joining a rota and coming as a helper -No need to prepare items or plan things in advance (unless you want to offer that). We're looking for a few helpers -It'll be a once or twice a month commitment depending on how many helpers we get, on a set week day at 3:15pm-4:15pm term-time. No special experience is needed. If you're interested please speak with Rev George or Liz Gray.

While we usually meet in the Green School, the next meeting is taking place in Church.

Join us on Thursday 3rd September 10:30am, in the Church, where we'll be welcoming guest speaker Julie Randall. Julie is a grief recovery method specialist and she will be sharing insights on coping with bereavement.

Whether you are grieving yourself or supporting someone who is, you are warmly invited to join us. There’s no pressure to talk — just come along to listen, share, or simply sit with others who understand.

 

Each month we meet to offer time for conversation and company, as well as a themed talk or guest speaker. We are always joined by legal professionals from W & P Legal who can share informal advice. Topics include practical matters such as wills, probate, and estate administration, and visiting speakers will include hospice nurses, funeral directors and grief counsellor. The café is open to anyone, regardless of how recent or long ago your bereavement occurred.

Come along to Messy Church for our New Term Party!
 

We’ll be having party games and crafts in the Green School, with plenty of fun and activities for everyone.  And of course some party food!

Saturday 19th September, 2:30–4:30pm

Everyone is welcome, and this session is particularly open to anyone new who's interested in coming along to see what Messy Church is all about.  It's for children of any ages, with a grown up, and especially suited for primary school aged children.  There's no charge.  It's just a monthly afternoon of fun, activities, friendship, and discovering God's love together.

So come and try Messy Church Sept 19th. We look forward to see you.

Sylvia is also a trained Spiritual Director / Accompanist. She has ministered all over England, from Merseyside to Devon, and is married to Nigel, our administrator.
